I just wanted to let everyone know that I put the manual for
Souper/Gui on the web. While the manual is written specifically for
Souper/Gui, I've also been adding sections for the Souper95 for the
command line.
Many parts of the manual, such as score files, are also applicable to
the command line versions of Souper for Windows-95, OS/2, and Linux.
The "Regular Expressions for Dummies" section is directly applicable
to all versions of Souper and Yarn. In addition, you could apply this
section to other programs that use regular expressions.
The web page for the manual is <http://www.mcs.net/~bobr/Souper>.
The web page for "Regular Expressions for Dummies" is
<http://www.mcs.net/~bobr/Souper/regexpdu.htm>.
Please let me know if and how these help you and if you have any
questions or suggestions for improvements.
If you don't send me questions, I'll be forced to assume that it's
perfect and that you know everything there is to know about Souper and
Regular Expressions.
Enjoy,
bob
