import (YW95_092) doesn't work for mail under NT 4

I am using Yarn and souper (or Vsoup) under OS/2. Works fine.
I am using YW95_092 and souper95 under Windows95. Works fine.
Using YW95_092 and souper95 under Windows NT 4.0, problem:
-import works fine for importing news into Yarn.
-import doesn't import mail into Yarn, whether I
run it as import -u to import the unpacked areas
and *.msg files, or as import soup.zip to import
the zipped files.

It seems to me that if import works for news, it should work for mail.

Any ideas or experience using Yarn/Souper under NT 4.0?
