I'm a bit old fashioned and still use YARN 088 with DOS and uqwk. When
reading if the message contains a mime attachment or uue I simply save
it to a file (append is ok). Then run the file through UUDEVIEW (a DOS
program available on Simtel). Brilliant... it decodes multiple files
(wildcards), multiple encoded files in various parts in various files,
multiple encoded stuff in a single file and handles both UUE and MIME
automatically. I usually save to D:/DIR/FILENAME.DEC so a simple batch
file UUDEVIEW -i D:/DIR/*.DEC does everything that has to be done. It
also has -d option for 'deperate' mode which will decode incomplete
attachments etc. Simtel or wherever: /decode/uudvd04e.zip
