I use it constantly. I frequently subscribe to groups or
listservers, never read any of the messages and then after six
months I have a huge searchable data-base with all the
questions and answers I could ever want on that topic.

Much better than the help files in most programs.

PS: For those who don't know (I saw two), you press
"/" to get the search menu and
";" to repeat the search.
I think you use "G" for searches inside a message.
