You did not tell anything about the REPLIES file being generated.
Check, that the reply.zip archive contains it. If not something else
is broken (in the direction of Yarn).

Ah no. Now I know (or I guess I do). use

compress=zip -kjm %f %d\*

Forget the trailing '.*' which prevents REPLIES from being compressed.
