If you're running Dos 6.x or lower, there is no such thing. What you
may be thinking of is DOS 7 which is the command line for Windows-95.
Souper95 will run on the command line for Windows-95 or NT, but will
not run on earlier versions of dos.
If you're looking for a SOUP packer that will run on earlier version
of DOS, try UKA_PPP. I don't know the URL offhand, but there's a
pointer to it on my SOUP page <http://www.mcs.net/~bobr/soup.html>.
Your mention of a "Souper" for the Apple Newton caught my eye. I
decided to look it up on the web. Sure enough, I found a Souper for
the Newton. Version 1.1 none the less. Unfortunately, it doesn't
seem to have any relation to Souper for OS/2 or Windows. Apparently,
some kind of database file on the Newton is called a "soup" and these
"soups" contain records. The Apple Newton Souper seems to be some
kind of database manager.
Talk with you later,
