Souper95 (still) stalling

I sent out an appeal for help recently because Souper95 was stalling
in the middle of collecting news. I've not seen any useful
replies. Has anyone got any suggestions? Could it have anything to
do with the memory allocated to the DOS session in which Souper95 is
running?
