Thanks to Anssi Saari and several others for many good suggestions.
There was general agreement that for OS/2, the answer is VSOUP or uqwk
for OS/2, with InJoy or DOIP as dialer. For DOS, the consensus generally
favored UKA_PPP, which seems to do all tasks.
