Wow! You'll love this then.
Caldera is taking MS to court, claiming that MS "tweaked" Windows 3.1 so it
would fail or run unreliably on DRDOS. Which it did...
Also... to add flavor to the stew...
Caldera claims that MS hid the fact that windows 95 runs on top of dos, so as
to eliminate any competition in the DOS arena. Caldera claims that by adding
a 600 byte TSR to DRDOS (or any dos), it has the capability of running the
WIN95 shell as well as MSDOS7.0. Infact, Caldera has plans on releasing the
600 byte TSR to the public, so everyone can have firsthand experience at the
ability of running the WIN95 shell on something other than MSDOS.
How Caldera will do it, I don't know, but accordingly this TSR will also
graphically monitor how much WIN95 uses the underlying DOS architecture.
And according to Caldera, you'll be amazed!
Interesting times we live in, say what?
Caldera is at www.caldera.com and has all kinds of neat articles and freebies.
