Vsoup Q

I'd like to know is there anyother way to restrict the sizes of news articles
being downloaded. I mean souper has the -l option but vsoup appears to only
have a score file. If there isn't any undocumented option then can somebody
help me a little and send me a score file which doesn't download any
news articles over 999-lines. And also what are the differences between
standard and push feed?
I'm using Vsoup 1.2.9.19 for Win95
