I should have thought so. Taking my own set up, what goes up and down
to Prestel is determined by the file \internet\default\newsrc (this is
the HOME directory newsrc file), as used by Vsoup. Yarn uses
\internet\default\yarn\newsrc (and various others as I have a multiuser
set up). Presumably you can have your local newgroups in the newsbase
that wouldn't be sent out.
