It's pretty simple, to set them up because yarn has _nothing_ to
do with your uploading and downloading, that's done by souper
or vsoup or whatever.

What you do is use a _different_ newsrc for Yarn than you do
for soup. Ensure the local groups are the last ones in the rc
file,

The tricky bit is posting to the group, there are several
methods, but the simplest one I've found is to set the local
group as a mailing list being echoed into a newsgroup.

Just set up the To: address to be an address on your
domain, and then filter it into the newsgroup when
your ISP's server echoes the message back to you as mail.

Of course, that is inefficient on bandwidth.
and insecure.

But otherwise you have to explicitly process
replies to filter the outgoing stuff out of
replies before you call Souper, and save it into
an appropriately named *.msg.
