You are correct, this is not much of an answer. I didn't ask
to start a debate about the validity of html and printed quotable
eMails. I have a need to be able to view them from time to time and
would like to be able to.

I really don't think it was nice of you to take my original
post as an opportunity to spout your opinion of html and printed
quotable posts/eMails, that was not the subject at hand.

Having said that, I don't have much patience for those who
post html in newsgroups, but some of the people I correspond with
are used to being able to send me this kind of eMail, since it was
only recently that I converted to Yarn from OL98.

Also, I once read that someone pipes messages into metamail
rather than use the auto-decode mode. Can someone explain how to do
that? I could not get the docs for metamail and I can't access it
from the console.
