I gave my opinion. You're the one turning it into a debate. I've found
that it's still possible to read HTML-encoded messages without aid of an
external viewer, so I've never investigated trying to find one.

I really don't think it was nice of you to take my reply as an
opportunity to jump all over me for expressing my opinion. Last I
heard, this was not a list where we had to keep our opinions to
ourselves.

It's not my fault that MS and other software producers create broken
software that doesn't comply with existing standards. And it's not my
fault that this software is often shipped with the default being the
wrong way. And it's also not my fault that people don't know how to dig
in and find out how to change their settings.
And if you're so darn happy with being able to receive mail from broken
e-mail programs, maybe you should go back to using OL98. Maybe you can
find someone at Microsoft to give you free technical support and a load
of help...and then you can flame *them* when they dare to express their
opinion.
