WHY (Windows Helper for Yarn) version 1.50 has been released. WHY is a
MS Windows 9x GUI shell for the Yarn off-line mail / news reader
package. At the end of this message is a short list of some of the bug
fixes, changes, and enhancements in WHY 1.50. If you want to know more
about WHY and maybe even download it, go to the *NEW* WHY home page at:

http://www.enteract.com/~ddonati/why/why.html

(If you've got links to the old WHY page on MCS please update them, that
page will soon be going away.)

New Stuff in WHY 1.50

Bug Fixes
* Fixed a window-size bug that would occur after executing a Windows
program via the Utilities option.

* Fixed an auto-close bug that would occur if auto-close was unchecked
in WHY and the system had a _default.pif file with the 'Close on exit'
option checked.

Changes & Enhancements
* Utilities are no longer stored in the why.utl file; they are now
stored in the why.ini file. A conversion utility (whycnv.exe) is
provided to move your utility entries from the why.utl to the why.ini
file.

* Changed the Setup Screen into a tabbed dialog, one tab for Files and
another for Options.

* Moved the Utilities off of the File menu, they are now accessable
from a tab on the main screen.

* InstallShield / UnInstallShield is now used to load / unload WHY.

* Added context sensitive help at the press of the <F1> key.

* Created a WHY Utilities Editor. MS Windows Notepad is no longer
used.

* If you try to start a second instance of WHY the first instance is
automatically brought to the top and the second is terminated.
