I use OS/2 for everything important but got stuck with a Win modem that
was absolutely guaranteed not to be. Since then, I have been running
yarn is both operating systems and will occasionally want to edit a
reply before sending it.
In both Windoze '95 and OS/2 V.4, I run yarn is a 90 X 40 character
window that just about fills my 1034 X 680 screen. Notepad (in a
window) serves very well for editing anything that I have had to edit
and all of the usual functions are available. [Shift] + the arrow keys
(or the mouse) will mark areas. Then you can also use [Ctrl] + [Insert]
to send anything marked to the clipboard in both operating systems and
[Shift] + [Insert] to paste it at the cursor location. This is
universal if the application uses standard screen I/O routines but in
the few cases that this does not work, click on the upper left corner of
your window and use the editing functions on the menu that is presented.
Windoze and OS/2 use similar functions in this regard and both work
well.
