I am using this variables:
HOME=D:\MailNews\hj
YARN=D:\MailNews\Yarn
>I don't know anything about vsoup, so can't tell if it is doing what it
>should,
>But import definitely should give you a "import: filtered mail to folder
>INBOX" message for each mail message.
Vsoup brings the files "AREAS" and "0000001.msg" to the Directory
D:\MailNews\Vsoup95\mail_in
I think, that is exactly what it has to do.
The text "import: filtered mail to folder INBOX" did not appear.
It shows this:
D:\MailNews\VSOUP95\MAIL_IN>import -u
import: Email
import: 0 articles accepted
>Does your yarn config file (%home%/yarn/config or %yarnrc%) include a
>filter= line? What does it say? (Normally filter=%d\filter1 %f)
My config file (D:\MailNews\hj\yarn\conf) includes the following line:
filter=%d\filter1 %f
But, what does %yarnrc% mean? I don't find a file like this.
>Do you have a %yarn%/filter1.exe file?
Yes, I have a D:\MailNews\Yarn\filter1.exe.
>How about a %home%/yarn/filter file? If so, what is in it?
The file shows nothing, it was created a few days ago and it is absolutely
empty (0 Byte).
>You might want to stop inbetween the vsoup and import runs above (at a
>time when vsoup reports that you had mail) and see what the
>MAIL_IN/AREAS file looks like and if there are *.MSG files there.
I did so, when I tried the last time. The file AREAS shows only the
following line:
0000001 Email bn
Inside the file 0000001.msg there is the test mail:

Das ist ein erneuter Test, für die Import-Funktion.
