This is a very interesting question and is something I really hadn't
considered until now although I've always wished it were possible to
mark articles before downloading. I know that certain offline readers
had the ability to work with summary files, that is they could import a
summary file and somehow provide a way to mark specific articles for
later downloading. As far as I know, Yarn does not have a way to do
this which makes me wonder why it is included as a feature in souper?

Personally, I think it would be really fantastic to have a way to
download usenet headers and mark specific articles for later download,
but am not sure how this could be accomplished. Perhaps a seperate
program would have to be written, one which examines the headers and
gives the user the ability to mark specific articles, this assuming of
course that Souper can handle such requests. The requested articles
could then be retrieved and imported to yarn. I'd be curious what
others on this list think about this and would also be curious to know
to what degree souper supports the retrieval of previously-marked
headers; is it a feature which is currently supported, or something
which is slated to be phased in within a few versions?
