One thing you might be able to do in order to get some of these DOS
programs to run better... Create little batch files that call them.
Then, find those batch files via an Explorer Windows (right click on
Start, then select "Explorer" from the list of options). Navigate
through the directory structure til you find those batch files. Right
click on one, and select "Properties." Select the "Program" tab. You
might want to check the box marked "Close on Exit." Click on
"Advanced". Check the box that says "Prevent MS-DOS-based programs from
detecting Windows". Click OK. You can also change the icon, if you
like. This might help, though it won't help with things like YES's
compiler bug. See my other e-mail for a possible fix for that.
Also, you'll need to edit your mailcap file to point to those batch
files you just created.
