Griech is right here. I have several different batch files set up to
send and recieve mail or news. I have recently switched to VSOUP on the
one that recieves news, but not on the others, where there seemed like
much less of a speed issue. Changing my "Send_Outgoing.cmd" script to
use VSOUP corrects SOUPER's problem with the commas in the name.
FWIW, the precise error I got with SOUPER was:
To: quilty@ibm.net (Lulu, of the Lotus-Eaters)
[run SOUPER]
Expecting SMTP 250 reply, got 553 <quilty@ibm.net (Lulu>... Unbalanced '('
So it looks like my excursions into Regex's wasn't necessary for this.
