One change that was made was the addition of a "thread tree" view when
viewing the messages in a newsgroup. At least I don't *think* that
existed in 0.89.

Yes, the Yarn news archive processing changed some as I recall, and it
doesn't shrink anymore, but mine stays a constant size so it doesn't
bother me all that much. I use nnign to show how much of the file is
currently in use and how much is slack space.
