Just a small question to provoke discussion...
Why would you want to port the yarn code to Linux? Why not to something more
attune to the Internet as a whole and do it in java? I for one, have been
slaving away, trying to write my own version of Yarn in java and it's been
quite a task. Just figuring out the file structures is a pain... Let alone
finding the free time to do it. It's hard going back to a project, after a
long spell away from it...
But having the Yarn source code to "read as you write" would be a blessing. And
writing to the JVM would be a bigger blessing for all of us, not just a few
specific platforms...
