What you have to remember about uka ppp is that it isn't just a smtp sendor for
off-line readers. It is a fully functional internet suite, with this feature in
a bag of lots of other different features. It also acts as a dialer and tcp/ip
stack, as well as having facilities such as ftp etc built-in. It uses conex (I
think) as a dialer, and conex requires more than one file to operate.

So, I would have yet another look at UKA_PPP!
