Well at least We can tell him what an Areas file is. A Soup
packet is a set of files, where all but one of these files contain
sets of messages, for instance from mail, from newsgroup A, etc.
At least one file in this set must be called REPLIES or AREAS and
contains lines that tell any software that wants to know about the
other files. Each line in an AREAS file looks something like this:
mail m b
where ``mail'' is the name of one of the other files (without its
``msg'' suffix), ``m'' stands form mail, meaning the file ``mail''
contains mail, not news, and ``b'' means each message in this file
is in binary soup format (rather than unix soup format, etc.).
