The problem is due to a compiler bug. I believe the software will need to be
recompiled on a different compiler in order for it to work on today's faster
CPU's. If the author is no longer supporting the program you are probably out
of luck. There has been discussion on the list about programs that can
supposedly fix the affected executables, but there have been no reports of
success with them.
