Problem with newsauth file.

I purchased a subscription to Supernews primarily for
mp3 news groups. Forte Agent handles this fine. I want however
to read non-binary groups with Yarn 0.89. However, when I set
up the newsauth file as outlined in the Souper docs, I get the
message "no such file or directory" when I attempt to log on to
Supernews.

The only thing which I did different from the newsauth example
was to leave off the < and > which flanked each of the three
entries in the example in the docs. I also tried it with the
angle brackets inserted with the same results.

My thanks in advance to anyone who offers a constructive
suggestion for solving this problem.
