VSOUP 1.2.8 and EMX 0.9D

I have a program (NFTP 1.60) which absolutely requires that I upgrade
my EMX setup to 0.9D (Fix 2), but it appears that EMXRT 0.9D ends up
breaking VSoup 1.2.8 (it fetches mail but not news).

I've reverted back to EMX 0.9c fix4 for now because VSOUP is somewhat
more important to me than NFTP in the short term, but this is a fairly
serious problem. :-(

I know there's a new version of VSoup in the works. Does the newer
version of VSoup work with EMS 0.9D?
