This is quite simple; all that is needed is access to a provider
providing news access in nntp format. There are many utilities to grab
such formats from a server using the standard nntp protocol for os/2 and
Windows, the one I use is souper but am hopefully going to be changing
to vsoup which is much faster on news at any rate as it allows multiple
connections.
