win98 forces me out of console mode and into the GUI as the little
icon moves into the system tray. Is there any bat command or program
that I can run to force it back into console mode without having to
click the ms-dos box on the bar?
For the moment I have "solved" the problem by putting a pause after
ndial32 so the bat stops executing until I get back into console
mode. (I have already tried "mode con" etc)
* I would like to use "kelias@CLIC.NET" as my default "From:" address
but replace it with "kelias@REMOVE.THIS.clic.net" whenever I am
sending a message to a newsgroup. Is there a program that will do
this?
Right now I copy different versions of "config" into HOME\yarn\
before sending to a newsgroup, but sometimes I forget.
Note to Hardy Griech:
I probably never would have installed vsoup had I been required to
figure out the complete instructions from your web page. I used the
single page of instructions you provided to "counselor" (Jeff) sometime
way back near the beginning of time. I believe you should add those
instructions someplace obvious near the beginning of your web pages.
Also the link to the win95/98 instructions is very hard to find.
I can email you a copy of those instructions if you like.
