As a seasonal television junkie, I feel secure in saying that there are times when I will watch whatever is on, just because it's on. Infomercials, for example. You just never know when you'll need that potato masher that doubles as a candle holder, or the juicer/hand mixer. If you look close enough you just might find that your infomercial product has a URL, and that can make the whole waste of time and brain cells worthwhile.

So yesterday I was watching a particularly dreadful infomercial for the Littermaid Self-Cleaning Litterbox, when the URL flashed on the screen. I'm weak. I don't recall exactly how many fractions of a second it took for me to jump up from the futon, run into the computer room, and type in that URL, but I suspect someone somewhere has me labeled as That Chyk Who Goes to URL's Before the Infomercial is Over.

Then it struck me:

Someone is advertising cat litterboxes on the World Wide Web.

Could it be limited to just one company? Isn't there a potentially limitless supply of web sites devoted to my cat's toilette? I checked, and I hereby offer the following list of sites:
