Not in the executable path, anyway. You might also check for
/usr/local/news/inews.

That's probably the easiest thing to do. Inews is pretty small, under
60kb or so (about 15kb for the mini-inews sometimes used by nn and other
online readers). Inews is usually part of the software used on nntp
servers, too, so it could be copied from there if necessary. That's how
it was done on our system when we encountered the same error.
