Doesn't make sense to me. Suppose the articles (accidentally or
deliberately) were set to expire in 777 days. Now that there is
no way of looking at those articles again, why bother to leave
them hanging around ?

I'm hoping to avoid the hang around effect by using the sequence:
- Mark all the articles in unwant.group as 'read'
- Run expire -r unwant.group
- Run rmgroup unwant.group
