All right, I think I know what got me confused now. I didn't realize
that Mark Weinstock's message had *two* lines that started with From.
One inside a paragraph, and one which was in the beginning of one. It
was actually the From *inside* the paragraph (no blank line ahead) that
split the message in two for me. That has never happened in a normal
message, as From in the beginning of a line practically always starts a
new paragraph. And in *that* case sendmail inserts a > in front and
everything works fine. Apparently sendmail doesn't do that if From
appears in the beginning of a line with *no* blank line in front, but
uqwk splits it up anyway.
