Lost "function" in .091

I've just upgraded from .088 to .091. There's a lot to like in .091, but it
doesn't allow me to do one thing that I could do in .088.

I sometimes manage my reading by going in and reading the group containint
the oldest messages I have on file.

In .088, I could do this by looking in the news directory, finding the
lowest numbered file, and looking into it to see what newsgroup the messages
were from.

This isn't possible in .091, with the new file format.

Please add to the wish list a way to get a list of newsgroups sorted by the
date of the first message in each group.
