Souper and offline thread selection question...

Hi all!

I am running souper/yarn under OS/2 and I have a question regarding souper's
summary mode of operation (the '-u' switch). I would like to be able to use
souper to download a list of article headers and then feed the resulting
summary packet to a front-end program like BUS to select which articles I want
to download. I could then give the final article requests to souper for final
download.

Apparently souper can only create the summary packets; it can't take requests
for individual articles based on the summary selection. There is nothing in the
souper documentation to suggest that this is possible. I'm hoping that maybe
there IS an undocumented way to do this. Does anyone know for sure?

I do know that UQWK can do what I want, but it lacks a killfile capability
which is very important to me. Souper with its killfile and, hopefully, 2-way
summary mode would be hard to beat.

Thanks for any help!
