Thanks. Yes, 0.08 has the same problem.

One workaround is to remove the pre-2000 messages to different
folders. Subsequent date sorting should work ok, except for the
occasional 1980-dated messages from non-Y2k-compliant Eudoras.

Better yet, if one can avoid date-sorting the Inbox with YFolder,
the messages will remain in the correct arrival order, regardless of
the date field.
