Halle Berry - Actress
Halle Berry was born Halle Maria Berry on August 14, 1966 in Cleveland,
Ohio. Named after a local department store, she has roots from England
(mother), African-American (father). Halle entered a number of beauty
contests including Miss Ohio, Miss USA, and Miss World. In the late
1980s, she went to Chicago for a modeling career with acting as a second
choice. In 1989, after losing out on an audition for Charlie's Angels,
she acquired the role of Emily Franklin on the television series, Living
Dolls. Her first screen role was in "Jungle Fever," where she played a
drug addict. She played a few other minor roles before taking on the
role as "Storm" in "X-Men" which she reprised in "X2: X-Men United."
Halle Berry's most demanding film was "Gothika," a dark and disturbing psychic thriller in which she was the primary character, falsely accused of murch. In 2002, the unexpected winner was Halle Berry "Monster's Ball," where the actress achieved the distinction as being the first African-American to win the best actress Oscar, for her portrayal of Dorothy Dandridge, the first African-American woman to be nominated for a best actress Academy Award. In the James Bond film, "Die Another Day," she played Bond girl "Jinx." Her characters have become more scantily clad as her roles have progressed, but her true talent lies in being the best dramatic actress of the current youthful talent in the industry, bar none. It is hard to say which outshines the other, her talent or her natural beauty. You will just as likely find as many people interested in Halle Berry's Oscar dress as you will in Halle Berry in a thong or Halle Berry topless. The actress is one of the higher class members, so not much of a candidate for Halle Berry exposed material. Watch for Halle Berry in "Swordfish" where many Halle Berry pics show the actress at her dramatic best. .15hqqv.
