Jennifer Ellison - Actress on the rise
Jennifer Ellison was born May 1, 1983 (a Taurus), in Liverpool, England.
A brown-eyed blond, she has been an actress and a model. At an early
age, she started dancing and singing lessons, leading to her becoming a
dancer. She was no flash-in-the-pan, winning national championships in
ballet and modern dance in 1996 and 1997. Her success brought her to
the lead role in a ballet production. She performed before royalty at
Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End. In 1998, she received an
opportunity for a role in a hit British soap opera, Brookside. She was
to portray a young teenager sister, but was only signed for six
episodes. When the producers realized that Jennifer was a genuine
actress, she extended her stay, becoming a fan favorite, especially to
the guys.
With her popularity, Jennifer Ellison remained on the show a full five years, taking modeling on the side to extend her skills and opportunities. After her Brookside character was killed off, she gave popular music a try, acquiring a recording contract with East West. Her first single was released June 16th, 2003, allowing her promotional opportunities to sing before a 60,000 strong Southampton Road Show. Her next single was released that November 24th, "Bye Bye Boy." Because of cinematic commitments, her album was delayed, as she appeared in movies that included "Hey Mr. DJ," and "The Phantom of the Opera." Jennifer's cinematic, dance, and musical career remains open-ended and on the rise.
