Lucy Lawless - Actress and Singer
Lucy Lawless, born Lucille Frances Ryan on March 29, 1969 at Mount
Albert, New Zealand, is currently married with three children, and
living alternately in Auckland, New Zealand, birthplace of
supermodel,
Rachel Hunter, and LA, California. She
first married Garth Lawless in 1988, but later married again to her
current husband, Rob Tapert. She is a tall 5-foot 10-inch Irish
Catholic, a natural blond, who speaks English, French, Italian and
German. Lucy is listed here, as represents a star who made it big in
one role, that of Xena, Warrior Princess (1995-2001), for which she had
to dye her hair jet black, and was a show that brought her international
fame. She made her broadway debut in Grease in 1997 when a producer of
the show saw her singing as a guest on a television talk show.
If new roles do not appear, and they haven't so far, Lucy is content to raise her kids. Would she want to be a Bond girl? "It wouldn't suit me at all," says Lucy, "I'd want to be James Bond." And that's not such a bad idea. Are there any writer-producers out their paying attention??? Lucy represents, a celebrity who has achieved star-status for a single role, and who could probably achieves inroads into anything else she set her mind to, if only we could separate her from her initial success. As the tough girl in Xena, Lucy Lawless has inspired many questions and a natural popularity among fringe groups. But there is nothing fake or abnormal about Lucy Lawless. Breast enhancement was never required and she remains one of the few genuine charming stars. .15hqqv. Free counters provided by Andale. | |||
