The Louvre at night


Part of the Louvre, at night. I don't think you could get a picture of the whole thing into one frame unless you were taking it from the air.

It was Saturday night, and the Pont des Arts was alive with people. Many groups had set out tablecloths and were having impromptu picnics, complete with many bottles of wine, right there on the bridge. There was a group of people pounding away rhythmically on African drums. Brilliantly lit tourist boats cruised back and forth along the Seine. We took pictures and soaked up atmosphere and decided that Paris would do.
