Carpenters Fan Club Newsletter #12 - April, 1972

Hi Fans!

Two more Grammies sit on the Grammy shelf in the den of the Carpenters home in Downey. Richard and Karen did it again; a Grammy Award for the best musical duo or group. They have expressed their appreciation for all your notes and letters of congratulations.

Karen's hair was cut a trifle short for this big event, and the trim, combined with the tight curl, gave it a shorter look.

Now - the news you have been waiting for! Their new album will be released this month (April). The name of it? - A Song For You. Watch for it in your local music stores. Oh yes - Bless The Beasts And The Children will be featured on the new album.

There's been a great response to the Boat Poster offer.

Richard and Karen have a busy summer ahead of them, and will take this opportunity to share their schedule with you.
