Orginal Velvet Gloves Cover Question
I've always thought the exterior cover of the orginal 'Velvet Gloves and
Spit" (VG&S) album
was classier than the brown and white re-release; however, what's the story
about the inside photo of Neil with all of those female mannequins? Pretty
intense for a Neil cover. Whose idea was this photo and what were the
circumstances of that photo shoot? Was it yanked because of controversey?
(Perhaps this was explained in the "Solitary Man" book but I gave my only
copy to my brother who has since misplaced it.) Thank you for any
insights.
