I don't consider Velvet Gloves to be one of Neil's more memorable album but I also don't consider it to be his worst. It does however rank right up there in my opinion. The cover however I think was probably his most unusual and most original. I'd be interested in knowing if any one knows the reasoning behind the naked manikins. That and the title as someone mentioned previously are very intriguing. Cheryl
