I am a late-comer to Neil Diamond concerts. My neighbors begged and begged
me to go see him in the 70's and I could not get past his long hair! Little
did I know what I was missing. In 91' I had cancer and a friend brought me
his "Jonathan" music and I have been hooked ever since. First saw him in
Winston-Salem, NC on a very cold rainy night. My husband had stood in line 3
hours to get tickets and were 7th row on the aisle where he came in and when
he did, it is a moment I will never forget -- in fact I will not ever forget
that very first concert. When it was all over and he was leaving I could
have reached out and touched him, but did not dare -- too many bodyguards!
Neil's music will forever be a part of my life.
