Iowa City

The show was so awesome!!! I was at the stage in front of his piano for the whole show. He looked into my camera so many times! He even waited once while my flash was being screwy.... he posed again.... and again.... LOL! Of course there were about a thousand people at the stage and I was being shoved from all sides so it turned out blurry. A lot of my pics got blurry but I got some good ones too. Unfortunately the ones I cared the most about got blurry. But you can still tell who he was looking at! <G> One time he looked at me ( I didnt' have my camera up there so didn't get a pic) and he was staring so I started smiling and he grinned really big back. It was so cool!!!!! He really played up to those of us that were lucky enough to be near the piano.

I also got to touch him about 4 times tonight and got his autograph on my program. I was getting worried I wouldn't get an autograph because the first time he came by I was being pressed so tight that I could hardly raise my arms and he passed me by. :-( Then a couple songs later I raised up my program and he gave me this sad look that said he was sorry....it was so sweet. He did sign it later...I was so glad!

I also called my mom in Florida during "tonight" and I held the phone up towards Elton and he looked at me and grinned and wrinkled up his nose. :-D

They were letting people line up at the stage before the show even started and my cousin who was in the back of the arena in the lower bowl made it up behind me at the stage by the end of show. I couldn't believe they were letting people do that! It was great!

There was one thing that about gave me a heartattack though....Elton tripped over some metal thing ( I couldn't see what it was) He really tripped bad over it. He caught his balance though. The whole arena gasped. I think my heart stopped! Thank goodness he was alright!!!!

The show was totally awesome! Getting to see Elton twice in 4 days and being up front for both shows has been a dream come true. :-D
