This was the third time I saw him on the solo tour. This show was the best of the three, Peoria and Carbondale. The weather was really bad with storms and he mentioned it at the beginning. During Talking Old Soldiers you could hear the thunder from outside. The crowd was into it from the beginning. Security was tight and only the first row could get to the stage. The set list was the same as Peoria but without the Dusty Springfield tribute. He told the crowd that this had been the best night of the tour. He pounded his fist with approval on the piano several times and said "Alright!" when he really enjoyed our reaction. We sang Happy Birthday to him about half way through. The local radio station the Rocket 101 said they were going to broadcast the concert live. I don't know if this happened, they didn't mention anything about it after the show.
