I attended the Cuyahoga Falls concert last night. Elton was in good form again, even if the crowd and security people weren't. On two separate occasions, two small kids were put on stage by their parents to give Elton flowers and to have something signed. One little girl had a t-shirt that said "I Love Bernie and Elton".
A few MAJOR surprises were in the concert last night. We heard Recover Your Soul, which hadn't been played since California, right? Also, Elton played Candle in the Wind, which really got a huge applause from the crowd. During the intro to Take Me to the Pilot, we got to hear about 45 seconds of Song For Guy!! That was great to hear, but no one knew what it was except for maybe five others.
All, in all, it was a great concert. Elton was really funny when he swallowed a bug while singing. He started playing that song about swallowing a fly (I don't really know the name, or how it goes).
For the last song, he came out wearing a fish-net shirt that you could see through!!!! Yes, he still shaves his chest!! LOL!
