Thirty-eight show North American continuation of The World Tour. Elton John was thought to be suffering from laryngitis which reduced his voice to a whisper during some encores. The tour started in Clarkston MI on August 17 and ended October 12 in Los Angeles CA. An unusual feature of this tour was Elton John playing acoustic guitar on Love Song accompanied by the other guitarists.
