Release of 14 CDs on the Polygram label that were formerly on MCA. All albums are from the UK masters as well as 12-24 page booklets; save for Greatest Hits I & II which have fewer than 12 pages. Polygram already is the record company for these albums in the rest of the world.
PolyGram acquired the rights to these albums when it acquired DJM records and it's This Record Company Ltd. subsidiary. DJM & This (now part of PolyGram) had leased the albums to MCA since in the early seventies because it had no distribution in North America. That's different now as Polygram has a large distributiuon system. MCA's lease expired this year. Albums released on the Rocket label in the UK (Blue Moves and 1978's A Single Man and forward) are still on MCA for now.
