The many lives of Paul Simon
This discography has been divided, rather arbitrarily, into five periods
that approximate stages of Paul Simon's musical career. The
benefit is that each period's web page will load quicker than a single page
covering Paul's whole career.
You can navigate directly to the period you are interested in, or use
the Paul Simon
Timeline to find a particular single or album. Everything is
in chronological order, so reissues appear when they were released, not in the
period they were recorded.
In addition, I have created Paul Simon
Books, a page listing books about Paul Simon
that you might enjoy.
Please let me know what you think of the discography, and send me any
corrections, additions or collectables. Thanks for reading! .../

Paul Simon visits a London studio to work on the
upcoming There Goes Rhymin'
Simon album. Paul Samwell-Smith has a
co-producer credit on American Tune.
The New Musical Express reported:
"Paul Simon is expected in London - possibly
this weekend - to record several tracks for hsi forthcoming solo album.
Paul Samwell-Smith, who recently recorded Carly
Simon and is Cat Stevens' recording manager, will
produce the sessions.
"NME understands that Paul Simon's stay in
London will be for only four or five days however, and that no personal or TV
appearances are likely. The singer will be accompanied by his manager
Mort Lewis and it is expected that plans for a British tour
could be finalised during the stay."
